Yes, we offer our APIs free for non-commercial use. You can apply for an API key. If you want to use our API for more than 1000 calls per day or want to use on commercial basis, then please write to us.

I want to use it in my website . My website platform is asp.net
we are using the SS API / flash object player inside of an OpenSocial gadget that we built for showing slides on our web site.
Recently, there was a technical issue and the player was not working. Is there an alert or email from SlideShare to notify users like us who use the API, when it's busted? It'd be nice to gracefully handle the error versus having users tell us our site is broken.
Hi, I want to embed the SS API in my website but I am unable to do so. After adding the API code to the layout page of my Web App, the player fails to display. It displays in a blank html page but I need it to display in my home page.Is there any way to get around this?
Please stop spamming the forum. Find some other place to advertise! This is very troublesome to people who are genuinely in need of help.
