What is a secret URL?

You can upload a document or presentation privately, which will then be visible only to you. In case you need to provide access to others, for such documents, we provide you a secret URL that can be shared.
This URL can only be accessed by the uploader, and the content can only be accessed by people who are given the URL, thus maintaining your privacy setting.

Thank you Manya. I have recently uploaded a slideshare with audio and markers saved. It works when I view it in my account, but when an invitee from the secret URL tries to view and listen, the markers do not appear and the slide will not refresh to the new slide, 1... 2... 3... and so on. I tested it on my computer and the same problem exists. Although it is private, you may perhaps get in as an admin here http://www.slideshare.net/c21jeffp/car-rpa-pg1-2587962 Any HELP!
Uploaded a slide show with music, received my secret URL, sent to clients and associates however all it says is "loading"...it never opens and plays?

hi, we want to share a presentation but we don't want our readers to actually download the presentation, is there a way to prevent that?
In other words, we want to share the presentation to anyone who visits the website but we dont want them to download them.
