When I try to create a slidecast, or even listen to a slidecast made by another user, it stops at the buffering stage. Why is that?

This is likely to be a network issue on your end. Shut down all high bandwidth consuming activities such as using a download manager, downloading content, video streaming and try again.

I don't have a download acceslerator, possiblity a download manager, but not sure how to investigate if it is causing the 'buffering' problem. Can you tell me what to look for?
I'm running into the same problem. Many of my slidecasts now just stop at "buffering..." no matter how long I or any of my students wait, rendering the slidecasts basically unusable. I need this fixed asap.
