You do not require a SlideShare account to use the SlideShare application on LinkedIn. We do however; suggest you get a SlideShare account to share your LinkedIn presentations, videos, documents outside of LinkedIn as well. Unless you link the account, your content will not be visible outside of LinkedIn.
