I am facing problems in uploading (upload fails), converting files (gives OOPs) or distortions in converted file (red boxes, font changed, image distorted). What do I do?

Case 1: If your file is taking too long to upload or failed to upload:
The time taken to upload a presentation file depends on:
The file size
Status of our servers
Sometimes there is a long queue for uploads and it could affect the upload time. If it takes more than 40 minutes or so, it is likely that there was an error in uploading and you should try again.
Case 2: The file uploaded, but failed in conversion (gives OOPs):
It is possible file conversion is facing an intermittent problem; try uploading once again after some time
Check if the file is password protected, encrypted or contains macros. If yes, remove these and try uploading again
If you were uploading a raw file (ppt, pptx, odp, keynote etc), you can also try saving as PDF and re-uploading (or vice versa, i.e. PDF to raw file). Sometimes problems get solved by saving the file as a PDF
Case 3: The file uploaded, but is continuing to show "Work in Progress" for a long time:
Sometimes there is a long queue for uploads and it could affect the conversion time. Our engineers are probably working on it, please be patient. If the problem persists, please file a ticket.
You could try a fresh upload of the same file; this might get converted quickly (especially if the cause of your first file getting stuck was a one off error in our servers).
Case 4: Upload and conversion is fine, but converted file is not perfect (garbled text, red boxes, wrong fonts, distorted images etc):
Sometimes our conversion algorithm has difficulty converting complex images, clipart, graphic objects, complex background or templates (taking these out of the file may solve the issue). Or, if you were uploading a raw file (ppt, pptx, odp, keynote etc) try embedding the fonts in a PDF and re-upload. This may solve your problem.
