I want to attach an audio to my uploaded file but cannot find the 'Edit Slidecast' as described in the forums. Has the screen layout changed?

Slidecasts are possible only with presentation files, and not with documents, videos or presentations with inserted YouTube videos.
You will not see the Edit Slidecast option in the edit interface if your file is not a presentation.
